LIBRARY 2.0
The term is used to describe a variety of interactive, collaborative, and multimedia websites and applications that libraries use to deliver effective web-based library services and promote user participation.
Different types of Library 2.0 applications include the OPAC, Wikis, Blogs, RSS, Instant Messenger, social networks, and podcasts. [1]
LIbrary 2.0 popular sites include Wikipedia, YouTube, Facebook, My Space, and Flickr, among others.
